Chocolate Covered Oreos
Needed:
1/2 lb Maggie Lyon milk or dark chocolate
1/2 lb Maggie Lyon white chocolate
1 sleeve of Oreos
sprinkles and toppings!
How To:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Melt the dark or milk chocolate either in the microwave at half power (stirring every 15 seconds) or in a double boiler. Stir until chocolate is melted and smooth.
Seperating the amount of Oreos in half, use a skewer or fork to carefully coat each Oreo in one type of chocolate, until half are dark and half are white chocolate coated. Use the skewer to remove each Oreo from the chocolate.
Tap the coated Oreos gently against the sides of the bowl until most of the chocolate has dripped off and rest the cookies on the parchment.
To decorate: Dip a skewer or fork in the remaining milk chocolate and drizzle over the white chocolate coated pretzels. Drizzle white chocolate over the milk chocolate coated pretzels. Or cover the Oreos in your choice of sprinkles!
Allow the Oreos to set, and enjoy!
