Chocolate Covered Pretzels
Needed:
8 ounces Maggie Lyon milk or dark chocolate
4 ounces Maggie Lyon white chocolate
1 bag of pretzel twists or pretzel rods
*You can make chocolate-covered pretzels using any pretzel shape that you like. Both the traditional pretzel twist and the long pretzel rod are popular.
How To:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Melt the milk chocolate either in the microwave at half power (stirring every 30 seconds) or in a double boiler. Stir until chocolate is melted and smooth.
Use a fork or spatula to carefully coat pretzels in the milk chocolate. Pretzel rods can be held at one end. Or use a fork to remove each fully-covered pretzel twist from the chocolate.
Tap the coated pretzels gently against the sides of the bowl until the excess chocolate has dripped off, then rest the pretzels on the parchment.
To decorate: Dip a fork in melted white chocolate and drizzle over the milk chocolate coated pretzels. Or cover the coated pretzels in your choice of sprinkles! Or both!
Allow the pretzels to set, and enjoy!
